Porzellán

The lustre of porcelain
comes only after the fire

Porzellán is the German word for porcelain. The brand took the name not for what porcelain looks like, but for how it comes to be.

01

What remains after 1,300 degrees

For centuries Europe could not make porcelain. Only once the union of earth and fire was finally worked out did that whiteness appear — not a glaze laid over the surface, but the light left behind once clay had stopped being clay.

02

The answer for skin is not on the surface either

A shine laid on top washes away. This is why ROSE LAB begins with the material rather than the finished product. Finding the right one takes time, and we have decided not to shorten it.

03

We moved that method home

The H in Porzellán H stands for Home. What had been used only in clinics was rebuilt to the same standard and set on the dressing table. Only the place has changed.
